Alright, the next challenger for the best burger in Provo, UT is here.
check it out, it’s the first place I’ve been to that isn’t a franchise, at least to the best of my knowledge Burger Supreme isn’t franchised. YAY local restaurants, supporting local business, whoo! yeah whatever, that’s nice, but I’m here to see if it’s got the best burger. And uh… wow, Burger Supreme really came through on this.
Just look at it! Look at all of its glory!
Before you start complaining, yeah I’m aware that it doesn’t exactly have the look of a classic burger with the texas toast instead of a bun and the pastrami, but uhh that is the burger I wanted and it’s sorta my thing. Honestly can you blame me? It’s like the best looking hot mess that’s really bad for you. Except a crazy but ridiculously good-looking girl you met the other day that is now currently lighting your clothes on fire.
It didn’t just look good though, it tasted even better. The texas toast bun works wonders as a bun substitute. Something I really noticed was that the toast was really good at keeping everything in the burger, which is always a big plus. Pastrami, being the best sandwich meat should obviously work well in a burger. The lettuce, tomato, american and swisss chesse all compliment the burger wel without becoming overbearing. I can’t honestly remember anything really going on with sauces and the patty could’ve been a little bigger. It’s a 1/4 lb but I really could’ve gone for a 1/3 lb patty.
All in all the golden burger was just straight up better than the classic smash from Smashbuger, sorry. So there is a new champion! All hail The Golden Burger! Burger Supreme is located at 1796 North University Parkway in Provo, Utah. I recomend you to make good choices by checking it out next time you are in Provo.
